Pegasus Pastels

I put this outfit together a few weeks ago when the weather was really warm and since it’s now back to being rainy, cold and gloomy, I thought posting it now would cheer my weather blues up a bit and remind me that warmer weather will arrive soon! I hope… You never can tell living here!

I’m wearing a Workshop Pegasus print t-shirt (bought at Topshop), my DIY Diesel Matic shorts, my Topshop wedges, ASOS pastel gummy bracelets and my Ray-Ban Cats 5000 Havana sunglasses.

I saw this t-shirt about 2 months ago in Topshop in the boutique section and I thought it was adorable! I love the pink and purple tone and also the fact that it’s actually a print of Pegasus. I made these shorts about 3 years ago too, I had a few pairs of Diesel Matic 81M (one of my favourite jeans) and I wanted to turn one into shorts, which I love, although sometimes I feel like they are just a little too short. It’s hard getting that balance in denim shorts!

P.S – Just to fill you in as well, I attended a big press event at Somerset House in London today and I saw the new collections from quite a few brands. I will have posts to come on Coach, Acne, Pinko, House of Holland and Dodo. I fell in love with Dodo! I can’t wait to share those pieces with you!

A Wintery Cold Outfit

I know it’s a typically British thing to do, moan about the weather, but seriously, I am not coping. It’s below freezing everyday and I am really not made for minus temperatures! I barely want to go out because it’s so cold and when I do, I’m stuck wearing layers, coats, scarves, hats and gloves. Luckily these pictures were taken before it hit freezing, even though it was still cold.

I was wearing my Current/Elliott grey leopard jeans, my Zara coat, Topshop knitwear and top underneath, scarf, wedges and bag, all from Topshop too.

On a plus note, since it’s been so cold, apparently snow is forecast for the weekend! I love snow so this does excite me a bit! I think snow always makes interesting photos. How are you all coping with the cold? P.S – I kind of realised, after most of my outfit posts, I am very obsessed with leopard print! Ha ha!

Pale Pinks & Creams

Since it’s my birthday today, I’m 23 :D , I prepared a few posts this week in advance because of the things I have planned for today up until Saturday. The birthday posts will be posted next week but I am still not sure if I am going to go to London shopping or not. I haven’t decided! Anyway, I am leaving you with this outfit post from last weekend.

I’m wearing J Brand Capris in Pale Rose, a Topshop pink tank top and tan wedges, a Miss Selfridge cream cardigan, an Urban Outfitters flower in a bottle necklace and a Topshop pink stone ring.

I really love pink and creams or whites together, it’s one of my favourite combinations because it really makes the pink stand out. Not to mention it’s nice and girly! These jeans are really thin, light weight twill so they are very clingy which I am sure you noticed, ha ha.

Flamingos & Sequins For Tigerlily

I bought these shorts from Shopbop a couple of weeks ago after eyeing them for a long time! I love denim shorts but I do wish the weather could remain nice for a long period of time so I could wear them more often! This is the other top I picked up at All Saints as well, I am obsessed with it!

I’m wearing Paige Jimmy Jimmy shorts in Tigerlily, an All Saints Sequin Flamingo top, Topshop wedges and snail ring, Ray Ban Aviators, HunnyBee Designs pink bracelet and a Lipsy Dragonfly ring.

I went to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 earlier. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to see it on the opening day but thankfully I was! I do love Harry Potter so much and I think this film has to be the best one they have ever made, it was fantastic! I didn’t think they would be able to capture the greatness of the book but they did. I wont say anymore in case some of you don’t know what happens. Have you all seen it yet or when are you planning to?

The Hudson Blues

I’m really enjoying bright colours, especially brightly coloured denim. It makes Summer feel just that little bit closer! I know it’s been raining constantly at the moment but we do get the odd day where it’s warm and sunny!

I’m wearing Hudson Blue denim shorts, a Miss Selfridge embellished waistcoat, a River Island white tank top and Topshop wedges.

What brightly coloured denim have you been adding to your wardrobe? Do you like the aqua/turquoise blue as much as I do? I find it goes best with neutrals.

Gummy Denim & Wedges Heaven

I’m sad the sun has gone away! It has been sunny here in England for about 2 weeks and now we have rain for a week. I thought the new sunshine was too good to be true for this country haha. Luckily I took these photos a day before the weather changed :)

I’m wearing my 7 For All Mankind Gummy Gwenevere denim leggings so much! They are one of my favourite pairs and they match almost everything. I love that about them! I paired them with my Topshop T-Bar wedges which you can see in the other photos below, a simple River Island T-Shirt, cherry colour checked scarf and my Miss Selfridge Bracelet and Hair Bow.

I never really used to be a fan of 7 For All Mankind until last year. They gifted me a pair of Gwenevere’s in Soho which I fell in love with. Since then I have quite a collection of their jeans :) I’ve been in love with the denim leggings trend for a long time as well and now they brought out the Gummy Denim it’s just perfect!

Courageous Colourful Coral

This weekend I did a little shopping around town and found some shops I never knew existed in my City. It sparked a few childhood memories as I found one of those strawberry lollipops that is also a whistle! I had to have that and then I found those old mood rings as well, I also had to have one of those! I’ve been wearing it every day since. I love how it changes colour with the temperature. Thank you Hawkins Bazaar for existing! They have so much stuff in there from the past! Even the original toy phones etc from when I was a baby! I’m definitely making a trip back to that store :)

I also went round my regular shops and ate lunch outside the Abbey. The Abbey is so beautiful and historic! It’s amazing. I will take some photos of it when I next go into town but I never took a camera with me this time so I took the photos in the woodland area at home.

I wore a Coral Dress from Asos, Pewter Bloch Ballerina flats, Ray Ban Aviators, Miss Selfridge Heart Shell necklace, Bangles and a Bow Hair Clip.

I then changed for the evening, keeping the same dress and sunglasses but wearing my Topshop T-Bar wedges and a Miss Selfridge colourful Cardigan that I got in the sale. I am in love with this dress and these shoes!

I watched the movie Dear John with Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried in the evening too. It’s such a beautiful film! I cried during the sad parts but it was amazing. I honestly can’t wait for it to come out on dvd! I definitely recommend anyone to go and see the film. It’s one of the most romantic movies I have seen in a while and it’s very heart touching :)

Flower Power

I was so excited when I found this Fuchsia Dress by Mina because it has my favourite flowers on it! Fuchsia Gerberas! I think it’s so pretty and the print is gorgeous! I paired it with my new Topshop T-Bar Wedges in Tan and my Adele Marie Fuchsia Swarovski bangle that I got last year in Harrods on my birthday when I visited London.

I normally wouldn’t pick wedges this high but they truly are stunning and I am in love with them! I have worn them for 3 days straight since buying them on Saturday :) This was the first time wearing my Mina dress out though, I’m so glad I did. It’s so bright and it screams Summer. My Adele Marie bangle is actually probably one of my most worn pieces of Jewellery, I have worn it every week since August last year! The sunset was so beautiful this evening too, the entire sky was bright orange! I’m really lucky to live right next to endless fields, it’s mesmerizing when the sun goes down and it looks like the whole sky is glowing orange, red and pink.

I have a better blog post coming this week showcasing the wedges more so you can see them but for now I have these flowery photos :) I’m also loving the Fuchsia Gerbera photos with the chocolate heart in the middle. I found those 2 photos on google by Vanessa Pike and I had to share!
