Playing With Tie Dye Jeans

I wore this outfit out on the weekend and I felt more confident about the jeans. At first I wasn’t so sure about them as they are so bright and loud, but they have grown on me so much and seem to be getting more popular in the celeb world too with Heidi Klum, Poppy Delevingne, Minka Kelly and Olivia Palermo having worn them. Last time I paired them with a cream jumper/sweater and nude heels, but this time I went down the route of black and I like it a lot more.

I’m wearing my Paige Verdugo jeans in Tumble, My Topshop PU leather biker jacket, Cross necklace and cross body bag, a H&M t-shirt and my River Island wedge booties.

I was in London yesterday for a few press days, so I will have Lulu Guinness and Nicholas Kirkwood’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection to share with you soon! But I plan on resting loads today as I am so exhausted from the trip. Also, for those of you who didn’t catch my post last week, I am now on Instagram and I post pictures daily (ones that are not on my blog) so come follow me on there! I’m LornaRaindrops. You can also see my Instagram feed on my FaceBook page. So what do you think of the outfit?

Tie Dye Tumble

These jeans I got from the Paige Denim press day in London back in November and I love them! I think they are so much fun! I think pairing them with neutrals is the way forward because they are so bold on their own, you don’t want to over power them. I can definitely see myself wearing these more in the Spring and Summer, they will definitely be fun jeans for the warmer weather!

I’m wearing my Paige Verdugo jeggings in Tumble, a Topshop cream jumper/sweater, wooden fish necklace and Leo stone ring and my Kurt Geiger nude Eleanor heels.

I think the next time I plan on wearing these will be with my black leather style jacket and some black heels. I think that will work as well and give them more of an edge. I did a review of these on DenimBlog a little while ago and I said that I never thought red, purple and orange would work well together, but I think these jeans prove that those colours do go very well! What do you think of them? They have since been spotted on Heidi Klum and Poppy Delevingne.

At The Paige VIP Cocktail Party

Last week, as you know, I attended a VIP cocktail party but I never told you all who the party was hosted by. Well, it was hosted by Paige! She’s re-designed her logos and the look of her brand which I announced on DenimBlog and she threw a VIP party to celebrate the launch. It was great seeing her and Donna Ida again. They are two of my favourite people! Along with Paige’s wonderful husband Michael :)

It was hosted in her penthouse in Soho, London and unfortunately it rained so we were under canopies on the balcony, but there was a gorgeous view of the London skyline at night. In the 3rd picture below, you can see me in the background with a funny expression on my face ha ha, I think I was in mid conversation. I saw quite a few celebs but I missed Peaches Geldof. One of the other highlights was when I left, I actually saw the paparazzi! Since I’m not a city girl, I never get to see them so that was exciting! What do you think of the pictures? Hopefully I can go to more parties like this soon, that would be great :)

Feeling The Blues

First of all I wanted to wish my American readers a happy thanksgiving! I hope you are all having a nice day today! We don’t celebrate it here in England but I know it’s an important holiday to you.

I’m wearing Paige Verdugo leggings in Paige Blue, a H&M t-shirt, a Topshop black blazer, berry scarf, Glam heels and rainbow ring.

For this outfit, I was styling the blue jeggings for a review on DenimBlog and I thought adding the pop of red with this scarf would really make it stand out. I bought this scarf along with a hat in the Oxford Circus Topshop in London. It was my first time actually going in the store and it’s amazing! It has 5 floors and so much stuff, it was overwhelming, but being a huge Topshop fan, it was also a dream come true! I loved it!

I’m actually off to London again next week, twice, and then I don’t have to go for a while. I have more press events to attend and also another event which I will tell you more about later, but it’s one I am SO excited for! I can’t wait to share it with you! It’s going to be really fun! So what do you think of my outfit?

The Colour Block Floppy Hat

I wanted to say sorry that I haven’t been posting much lately or posted many outfit photos. Again I haven’t been feeling too great and the outfit posts are the biggest posts that go on my blog.

Anyway, did you all have a nice weekend? My boyfriend and I sort of made plans to go to Disneyland Paris in the middle of next year! I generally don’t like holidays or staying away and I haven’t been abroad yet as you know, but we can take the Eurostar train straight to Disneyland and I think just being there will override any hesitant thoughts of being away really, I’m just so excited about it!

I’m wearing my Paige Lou Lou flared jeans, a Pins & Needles berry lace top, an ASOS colour block floppy hat and gold tree necklace, a Topshop rainbow ring, a Talullah Tu Tassle String Bracelet and my Urban Outfitters wedges.

I’ve always had a liking for floppy hats but I haven’t really ever been able to find one that suits me. They always end up covering my face or being too big or just not fitting right. I fell in love with this one though since it combines two colours and looks really cute! What do you think?

Winter Berry Tones

I have to say that when it comes to jeans, I really love the unexpected colours you can get them in. The one colour that I do truly love and think is perfect for the colder weather is the winter berry shade. The deep red with the purple undertones. It’s just so beautiful and I am so glad that I own these jeans! They are the perfect shade. I still love them even after months of owning them.

I’m wearing my Paige Verdugo jeggings in Eternity, a Miss Selfridge jacket, a H&M tee, my Topshop leopard scarf and rainbow ring, my Urban Outfitters shoe wedges and my Mulberry Alexa Clutch in Powder Sparkle Tweed.

I’m also loving this new Topshop rainbow ring. I bought it on the spur of the moment at the till and it’s so colourful! It reminds me a lot of oil, you can see the metallic rainbow shades against the black. I sort of put this outfit together just before leaving and I love how it looks, I feel like the accessories pull everything together nicely. I get so excited when an unexpected outfit turns out great! I also think my Mulberry bag is my favourite one that I own now, I am so glad I saved for it! What do you think of the outfit?

A Windy Day At The Beach

My boyfriend and I thought it might be fun to try something a little different and catch the train to the beach yesterday. It’s about a 50 minute train ride away but we didn’t think it would be so windy! I know there is always a wind that comes off the sea but I ended up with sand in my hair, my eyes and everywhere else. It was really too cold and ended up being stressful and tiring rather than fun unfortunately.

The one thing I did like the most was the Sea Life Centre though, they had so many different reptiles and fish there! The snake neck turtles were beautiful, I loved the sting rays and the leopard eels too. I love animals so it was definitely my favourite part! I picked up some beautiful crystals at the gift shop too. What did you get up to this weekend?

I’m wearing my new Miss Selfridge PU Leather Biker jacket (which I got this weekend and will show you more of soon), my Altru Go Out Tonight tee, my Paige & Lorna collaboration jeans, my Topshop floral snood, black boots, coral bag and rainbow ring and my D&G sunglasses.

I’m On The Edgemont

This outfit is quite simple and plain because I was reviewing these jeans for DenimBlog and as they are quite bold, I didn’t want to overpower them. I really love the zippers they have on the hips, they are amazing and I find them to be quite sexy. What do you think of them?

I’m wearing Paige Edgemont jeans, a H&M black tee, Topshop Salma heels, an ASOS cupcake necklace and a rainbow ring which I got for my birthday.

Over the weekend I actually plan on doing an outfit that has no denim in it again, it’s crazy because I always wear denim, being the denim obsessed blogger that I am, but I made a vow to try and do some outfits without the gorgeous blue fabric in! It is tricky though since I review a lot of jeans and I can only take my pictures on the weekends. I have something planned though! Are you all having a nice week?
