Black & White With My Mulberry Oak Lily

This is an outfit that I put together on Easter Sunday, last weekend. I’ve sort of become addicted to leggings now, I have gained quite a few in pretty colours and prints, but these seem to be a pair I go to the most when I’m not in jeans. I thought pairing them with my tie front shirt would look nice and I quite like how it turned out.

I’m wearing my Miss Selfridge coated black leggings and my tie front white shirt, my new Topshop metallic toe cap heels, my Merle O’Grady necklace, Urban Outfitters bird ring, AVON pearl bracelets and my Mulberry Lily in Oak.

I’ve had a little thing for metallic toe cap heels and when I saw these in Topshop last month, I thought they were adorable! The best thing is they are only 3 inches so they are suprisingly comfortable! This is also the first time sharing my Mulberry Lily in Oak with you guys in an outfit. I don’t usually like brown and black together, but I have become fond of it when white is also involved. I then finished off the look with some accessories. What do you think?

Black, White & Grey Inspired

I take my inspiration for outfits from everywhere really, anything can honestly inspire me and this one was sort of inspired by Kate Moss. I am not a huge fan of hers if I am honest, but I do like it when she puts together a monochrome, smart yet casual outfit. Kate seems to really be afraid of colour and hardly wears it, but it wouldn’t be one of my outfits without a pop of colour somewhere! Ha ha. I put this together quickly as an outfit for one of my reviews and I really quite liked the way it turned out actually.

I’m wearing DC grey skinny jeans, my Topshop black boyfriend blazer, black Salma heels and faceted bracelet, a H&M white tee and my Merle O’Grady necklace.

So what do you think of the look? It’s actually been raining here constantly all week and it’s so dark now that the clocks went back on Saturday! I dislike it when Winter draws close because there is barely any daylight and warmth. Speaking of warmth though, I actually just bought a leopard Onesie from Topshop! It’s the warmest thing ever and it even has a hood with ears on it! So cute!

Beetle Bug

I honestly thought that Autumn was here and this week seems to be really hot and sunny! English weather never ceases to amaze me sometimes, ha ha. I’m much happier now it’s a bit warmer, it reminds me of Summer again! I went to watch Friends With Benefits on the weekend and I thought it was hilarious! Even my boyfriend did and he doesn’t usually like films like that. Has anyone else seen it? I think I prefer Justin Timberlake as an actor!

I’m wearing Nobody straight leg jeans, an Urban Outfitters berry coloured cardigan, a River Island white tank top, Topshop Salma heels and Beetle ring and my Merle O’Grady necklace.

I bought this ring last week as an impulse buy really, I fell in love with it in the store, I love animal or bug jewellery, I always think it’s so unique! Little Deserted Laneways

Sometimes I really enjoy wandering around and finding the quiet places where nobody seems to go, out the way of the hustle and bustle of town. Not that my town is that busy to begin with but it’s nice to explore. It seems like the sun was only out for one day unfortunately, now it’s gone back to coldness and rain. Urgh.

I’m wearing my custom DIY Levi’s shorts, a Topshop knitted tank top and white tank top, New Look sandals, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Karlie clutch, a HunnyBee Designs yellow bracelet and my Merle O’Grady pendant.

I’m hopefully trying to set up another contest to run soon since I haven’t done a proper one in a while. Did you get up to anything fun this weekend? I’ve actually been really good lately and haven’t bought anything except a hat in about 4 weeks! Although I think I need to break my shopping ban soon! More photos after the jump.
