3 Different Summer Inspired Looks

I don’t usually do these types of posts on my blog, however I really love putting outfits together this way and seeing how different pieces work with each other. I was inspired to do three different looks here, one that’s safari and girly, another that’s girly and classy and then another that’s very much festival orientated, all of which are perfect for summer!

For the first look above, I had my eye on that skirt for a very long time as it’s gorgeous, but I haven’t had the money to purchase such a statement piece at the moment, so styling it like this was a great option for me. This is definitely a look that I would love to wear, however I don’t know if I am brave enough to show that much skin! This outfit consists of a Marc by Marc Jacobs Rose Gold Watch and a Safari Skirt, Black Bralet, Cream Wedges, Elephant Necklace and Orange/Pink Ring from Topshop.

This second look has a girly vibe that I toughened up with some black ankle boots. With all of the accessories and sparkle, this is definitely something that I would wear myself. I actually own the dress in the full maxi length version and it’s gorgeous! Very flattering and elegant! This outfit features a Wal G Red/White Dress, a Rebecca Minkoff Mini 5 Zip in Berry, a Marc by Marc Jacobs Henry Glitz Watch in Gold and Black Boots, Gold Bracelets, Single Bracelet and Earrings from Topshop.

Finally I thought I would do a festival look as so many music festivals happen during the summer! Since I live in England though, it’s always an essential to carry an umbrella with you and wear wellies because it gets muddy and wet, especially at Glastonbury. It’s always important to wear bright colours though and accessories, especially with neon and mirrored sunglasses! This look features Striped Denim Shorts, Orange Jumper, Pink Umbrella, Gold Ring and Floral Head Band from Topshop, Ray-Ban Mirrored Green Wayfarers, a Yellow Nixon Watch and Harry Hall 3/4 Wellington Boots in Red.

Neon And Acid Wash For Summer

As the sun was shining a little bit on Sunday (for a very small amount of time lol) I thought it would be good to wear a summery outfit, which is why I chose acid wash and neons, mixed in with some pastels. I got these Ray-Ban Sunglasses courtesy of Sunglasses Shop and I absolutely love them! I think they might possibly be my favourite pair! I just love the mirrored blue lenses and have been wearing them a lot!

I’m wearing Dittos Acid Wash Jeans, a River Island Neon Pink Top, my Wonders Silver Glitter Shoes, my new Rebecca Minkoff Mini 5 Zip in Mint, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Neon Pink Watch, various Bracelets from ASOS and Topshop and Ray-Ban Aviator Mirrored Blue Sunglasses.

One of my favourite shades in summer is definitely neon pink, which is why I own quite a few pieces in the colour. This top is really old now, but it doesn’t stop me loving it. I also can’t stop wearing this new watch, which I’m sure those of you following me on Instagram (@LornaRaindrops) will have noticed! Also, this is my debut of my new Rebecca Minkoff bag, however I will have more details on it soon in a separate post! I also mentioned to you that I really love these new shoes from Wonders, so I have included a better shot of them at the bottom of this post. So, what do you think of my outfit? Something Classic, But With A Little Twist

(Jeans – Similar, Blazer – Similar, Scarf – Similar, Shoes – Exact, Bag – Similar)

I received these beautiful shoes to style from Wonders Shoes and I can’t get enough of them! You will probably have already seen them on my Instagram as I posted some snaps as soon as I got them, but you know I love glitter, so the toe area of these is just beautiful! They look great with shorts and skinny jeans, so I definitely plan on wearing them more!

I’m wearing Paper Denim & Cloth Skinny Jeans, a Black Zara Blazer, Wonders Glitter Shoes, a Multi Coloured Scarf from New Look and my Marc by Marc Jacobs Pixie Bag in Coral.

I decided to go down a classic route with this outfit in the form of skinny jeans and a black blazer, but I added some colour and print with the multi coloured scarf and the coral bag. I wasn’t too sure on the look at first because there are a lot of different colours, and I’m not sure everything blends well, but I think it’s something different! Black & White Stripes Like Beetle Juice

(Jeans – Similar, Blazer – Similar, Boots – Similar, Bag – Similar)

I have to admit that this isn’t one of my favourite outfits, but I had to style these jeans for DenimBlog and they didn’t fit me quite right so I needed to pair them with boots. I kept everything black and white because I think that suits the jeans perfectly, but then livened it up with the shots of red in my bag and with my lipstick.

I’m wearing 7 For All Mankind Jeans, a Zara Black Blazer, my DUO Laurel Black Boots and my Marc by Marc Jacobs Red Bell Bag.

When I first got these jeans they reminded me so much of Beetle Juice, hence the title of my post, because he had a whole suit with these thick black and white stripes on. I think I would like these more if the were not coated though, I think the shine makes them less intense. Thick black and white stripes I do prefer over pinstripes though, I think they are really bold and effective. What do you think of the look?
