We took these photos a few weeks ago as I was reviewing these Diesel Grupee Jogg Jeans, but I didn’t get around to posting them yet. I decided to pair the jeans with my Woodland Blazer that I got from Choies last year as I still love the print on it so much. It’s adorable! I kept things fairly simple with my shoes, opting for my Topshop Gabbi Nude Heels and then went with my Olivia Burton Humming Bird Watch, some various bracelets and my brand new Marc by Marc Jacobs Flap Percy in Coral.
I have been trying to be good lately and not buy many clothes as I still have so many pieces from last Summer that I didn’t really wear that much. I have bought a couple of tops on eBay, but I sort of allow that since they were super cheap! I’m always looking around for vouchers and discount codes too to get the most out of my orders and try and save money. VoucherBin is a pretty good site for that as they often share really great discounts that you can get online. Who doesn’t like savings? I sure do!
In other news, thank you so much for all of the support towards The Jeans Blog. It’s been absolutely incredibly and in the little amount of time that it’s been live (10 days) it’s had over 1000 views already. I’m over the moon! I also wanted to say that I really appreciate all of the votes you gave me for the Company Blogger Awards 2014, I didn’t win my category unfortunately, but knowing you love my blog means everything to me, so thank you! Anyway, what do you think of the outfit? Do you like it?
We shot these photos a few weeks ago when the start of the warm weather was just coming in. The sun was shining and it was beautiful being next to the river as the light reflected off of the water. Currently right now I’m looking out of the window and typing while listening to nothing but the birds singing, so I can definitely say I am enjoying Summer so far! I can’t wait for it to warm up even more! Are you enjoying the warm weather?
For my outfit, I wore my classic Levi’s Black Skinny Jeans and tucked them into my new New Look Block Heel Black Boots (which are now in the sale at £12!). I got to choose these from the New Look website to style them and I think they are amazing, especially for the price. They didn’t hurt my feet and the block heel means they are easy to walk in! Keeping with the black theme, I wore my Zara Zip Waterfall Blazer in Black to add some structure to the look. To brighten things up and inject some colour, I then chose a Purple Top from Topshop, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Percy Bag in Berry Haze and finished it off with a Topshop Gold Cross Necklace. I think the combination of black and purple is really pretty, so I quite like how simple this outfit is, but not dull.
Now, in other news, one of the projects that I was working on is now finished! It launched on Monday and I am super excited about it! So far it’s had an amazing response from everyone and that means so much to me! I’m not going into details just yet as I’m saving that for another post, but for those of you who are reading this and are interested in finding out what the project is, please click here and it will take you to it! If you need a clue, there’s a chance it might be a brand new website… Anyway, comment and let me know what you think of this outfit!
I wore this outfit on Saturday when I went out to lunch with my boyfriend, like usual. We chose my favourite place again, The Real Italian Pizza Co. but it was so hot! As it’s been raining here and cold all the time (last weekend I was in a coat with an umbrella), I certainly welcomed the heat with open arms! I can finally wear my shorts and sunglasses, although even in minimal clothing like this, I was still boiling! I wore my vintage Levi’s Denim Shorts with my Zara Leopard Shirt for the day. I wore a look similar to this in June last year and I thought I would re-create it, just differently, so instead of wearing wedges, I chose my Jimmy Choo Melba boots in Sandalwood as I think they look amazing with shorts! Not all boots work with bare legs, so I’m incredibly happy that these do! They were super comfortable to walk in too, which just makes me love them even more!
Now for my accessories, I went with my Mulberry Lily Bag in Oak and my Ray-Ban Aviators. I also wore my Marc by Marc Jacobs Blade Chrono Watch in Rose Gold with various different bracelets, including a Rose Gold Buckle Bangle from Infinitine. This is absolutely gorgeous! The clasp actually opens and then you buckle it shut by snapping the pin through the hole, which I think is incredibly cool since it’s metal! I also have a Rose Gold Fox Ring and a Gold Giraffe Ring from the brand too! Super sweet! You should definitely check them out as they have amazing jewellery for a great price too! What do you think of the outfit? I would love for you to let me know! Also, if you haven’t yet voted, please vote for my blog in the Company Blog Awards under ‘Best Designed Blog’ on page 3 as it would mean a great deal to me! Thank you! Click here to vote.
I thought it would be nice to share with you some of my favourite bags that I own. I usually always get asked what my favourite jeans are, so I thought it might be a good idea to also share my favourite bags with you too! You will have noticed already that I have a lot of smaller bags, often the mini versions or small cross-body bags as I don’t like bigger ones. Sometimes if I am travelling quite far, I will need a bigger tote to carry all of my things in, but for day to day things, I always have really small bags. I have delicate shoulders that tend to pop out of their sockets so I can’t carry anything heavy without causing myself pain. Plus, since I’m quite small, bigger bags tend to overwhelm me and make me look even smaller, which is often another reason for choosing smaller bags too. So, onto my 8 favourite bags from my collection!
Above is my Balenciaga Mini City Baby Diam Bag in Black Suede. You all know already that I sold about 20 pairs of jeans to get this bag! There was no way that I could ever afford a Balenciaga or even save for it at a fast pace, so the only solution was selling a lot of my own things. It was definitely worth it though! I don’t really own black bags and this one has had so much use already! It’s made with such attention to detail, it’s soft, it’s not too heavy and it looks beautiful too! It couldn’t be more perfect if it tried and I am really glad that I bought it! Buy it online here.
Next up is my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Deer Brown. If you have been a long time reader of my blog then you will know that this bag was on my want list for over a year! I couldn’t afford it when it first came out as it cost too much, but then it sold out really quickly and was impossible to find! I would check eBay multiple times a day as well as finding out what stock the Mulberry outlets had in on a weekly basis! I almost gave up hope, which is when I bought the Mini Taylor in Sycamore as it was a very close colour, but then a few months later (about a year and a half from the start) one popped up on eBay from a TPF member who had purchased it from Selfridges! I didn’t mind that it had been used a couple of times, I was over the moon that I finally had it and it’s even more perfect in person! It’s the most beautiful shape and size and the colour is incredible! Again, this is a bag that I have worn so many times!
