It’s getting a little bit difficult taking my photos in the rain, since the rain drops tend to make things a bit blurry and mark my clothes, but at the moment I don’t seem to have much of a choice. This is a look that I put together, styled around the hat and the kimono. I wanted to start by talking about this hat as it’s gorgeous! I got to choose it from Hats.com and I fell in love with it when I saw it. It’s called the cranberry Oksana Cloche hat and it has such an old fashioned vibe to it, it’s so pretty! I’m not usually a hat person, unless you count bobble hats for warmth, but I think this one actually suits me really well. I put my hair in a loose messy braid to go with the style of it and I think that’s what makes it work.
This kimono believe it or not is actually from H&M. I saw it on another blogger about 6 weeks ago and it inspired me to buy it myself. I’ve never actually worn a kimono before, so I was pleasantly surprised at how flattering it actually is. I think the fact that it’s see through really helps as you can still see your silhouette through it, so it doesn’t swamp your figure. Plus the fact that it’s a mix of burgundy and black, I think it’s so beautiful! It’s really cheap too, it only cost £19.99! I layered it over a simple white t-shirt so the colour of it wasn’t lost. You could probably wear it with black as well for a more sleek look. Now onto the jeans, I got these from Hudson and they are the Hudson Stark Moto Jeans in Black. They are the brands latest moto style jeans and they are so pretty! They have zippers at the hips and the knees have a fanned denim effect, which is really unique. They are so detailed and beautiful. Usually I wouldn’t pair such tough jeans like this with more delicate pieces, but I do like mixing masculine and feminine pieces together, just to contrast things. Then to finish it off, I went with my Topshop black suede heels. What do you think of the outfit? Comment and let me know! Plus, don’t forget to enter my James Jeans giveaway!
Oh, and on another note, as it’s now really cold out, I have been looking into getting a couple more winter coats. I already have a burgundy one which I wear quite often, as well as a grey pea coat, but I’ve been looking at some fluffy winter coats which might just be that extra bit warmer. I’m also thinking I might need one that’s waterproof, I haven’t really got any waterproof winter coats and it can be a bit of a problem in the rain, ha ha! What’s your favourite coat you use for winter?

Unfortunately at the moment I have flu, or a really really bad cold. I feel terrible and have barely slept for two days due to aching all over, congestion and a pounding head. I haven’t been sick like this for almost two years though, so I was doing pretty well, but since every single person I know, in person and online, has had this illness or currently do have it, I think it was pretty unavoidable. I just hope it goes away really soon, it’s driving me crazy. Have any of you come down with it too? Luckily I took this outfit over the weekend as I’m not able to take any now. It was raining, as it seems to be every single day, but I thought I would go against the odds and really brighten up such a miserable and wet day. You probably recognise this umbrella from my banner, but I thought I would showcase it properly in an outfit post as it’s one of my favourite ones. It’s so bright and pretty. I put the link of where you can buy it too, as I actually purchased it from China on eBay surprisingly.
For my outfit, I chose to wear my trusty James Jeans Couture Jeans in Vesper as I absolutely adore these! They are my favourite dark blue jeans that I own. I couldn’t be without them! I paired the jeans with my Hunter Original Tall Wellies in Navy Gloss since it was pouring with rain, I didn’t want to get my feet wet. I’m really glad that I went with navy though as it can be worn with almost all of my jeans, which is great! I then wore my new H&M dark purple cardigan which I got a couple of weeks ago, just to add some more depth and richness to the outfit. I love H&M cardigans as they are so cheap and come in so many colours! If you are wondering about the white tank top underneath, it’s one of my staples, also from H&M. Now for my accessories, I piled on some of my new bracelets from Amadoria, these are from their new Talya collection which they sent to me and are so pretty! This set also comes with a pink bracelet, but it didn’t match the rest of the outfit, so I didn’t wear it. Finally, the ring, it’s a beautiful red crystal poppy ring which I got sent from Jon Richard and it’s designed specifically for the Poppy Appeal, with some proceeds going to the charity. It’s not yet available to buy, but as soon as it is I will tell you more about it! I was also wearing my little black mouse ring from ASOS, but as I was getting annoyed in the rain, I forgot to take photos of it. Sorry! What do you think of my outfit? Comment and let me know! It’s back to resting for me.
P.S – Don’t forget there is 25% off at Shopbop in the Friends & Family Sale! Final day today!

This is an outfit that I put together on Sunday. I got this jacket from River Island and luckily it was the only one left! I also purchased this shirt from H&M some time ago, but it hasn’t been warm enough to wear it until now. I actually really love the combination of yellow and white as it reminds me so much of spring!
I’m wearing my Hudson White Jeans, a River Island Lemon Yellow Blazer, a H&M Yellow Shirt, my Topshop Metallic Toe Cap Heels, Gold Cross Pendant and Yellow ring.
I honestly can’t wait for the weather to warm up some more! I’ve got so many outfits planned that I really want to wear, but unfortunately can’t lol. Also, I made a new video on YouTube, reviewing some of my Marc by Marc Jacobs bags! You can check out my channel here. So, what do you all think of the outfit? Do you like it? Comment and let me know!
I named this post the one that got away because I realised I hadn’t posted this outfit back in the summer! I had the photos ready, but somehow I never got around to publishing them and it sort of became too late as Autumn came around, however I don’t have an outfit to post today, so I decide it would be nice to reminisce over the summer months when it was warm outside!
I was wearing a pair of Agave Denim skinny jeans, a H&M white top, my Topshop Metallic Toe Cap Gabbi heels and an ASOS Butterfly necklace.
I always find myself longing for summer, it’s my favourite season and it never ever lasts long enough over here! It’s nice to look back at my photos though, that’s what I love about having a blog, it’s like your own personal diary which you can look back through and see how you spent your months. Anyway, what do you think of the simple summer look?
