Inspired By The Birds

So here is the outfit with the swallow print shirt that I got. I decided to name it ‘inspired by the birds’ because I went down the route of having a bird theme with my jewellery as well. Since this shirt is satin, the light reflected off of it quite badly so it made it hard to capture correctly in the photos, so I apologise for that.

I’m wearing my James Couture Jeans in Vesper, my Forever 21 Swallow shirt and Owl necklace, Rings from Urban Outfitters and ASOS and my Kurt Geiger Eleanor heels in Nude.

So what do you think of the outfit? I really like keeping things neutral and simple sometimes, even though I love my bright colours. It can work just as good both ways in my opinion. Also, I never watch Big Brother usually, but this years show has some how really caught my attention. I think it’s because of The Situation, have any of you been watching it?

Black & White With My Mulberry Oak Lily

This is an outfit that I put together on Easter Sunday, last weekend. I’ve sort of become addicted to leggings now, I have gained quite a few in pretty colours and prints, but these seem to be a pair I go to the most when I’m not in jeans. I thought pairing them with my tie front shirt would look nice and I quite like how it turned out.

I’m wearing my Miss Selfridge coated black leggings and my tie front white shirt, my new Topshop metallic toe cap heels, my Merle O’Grady necklace, Urban Outfitters bird ring, AVON pearl bracelets and my Mulberry Lily in Oak.

I’ve had a little thing for metallic toe cap heels and when I saw these in Topshop last month, I thought they were adorable! The best thing is they are only 3 inches so they are suprisingly comfortable! This is also the first time sharing my Mulberry Lily in Oak with you guys in an outfit. I don’t usually like brown and black together, but I have become fond of it when white is also involved. I then finished off the look with some accessories. What do you think?

It’s A Siwy Love Song

I wanted to start this blog post by saying a huge thank you to all of you who wished me happy birthday on Wednesday. I think I counted around 85 messages on FaceBook, Twitter and email. I really appreciate all of them and I had a nice quiet birthday. It was actually really hot on my birthday so that definitely makes a change.

Here I am wearing Siwy Alexa denim shorts in Love Song, a Sparkle & Fade jumper/sweater from Urban Outfitters, Urban Outfitters shoes and bird ring, an ASOS heart clock necklace and my H&M gold bangles.

I’m absolutely in love with these shorts! I’ve done a review on them on DenimBlog (which you can see here) but I just love the wool patches on them! So cute. I’ve been saving for a new pair of Ray Ban sunglasses too, I am stuck choosing between a few pairs. Did you all have a nice weekend and what do you think of this outfit?
