I just wanted to let you all know that I am now self hosted! I’m still using WordPress and still have my Fruit Shake theme, but I am able to do what I want on my blog now and have a lot more widgets and accept adverts etc. I wanted to tell you all not to worry though. I am definitely not selling out at all.

From day one my blog has been about everything that I love and like and would wear myself; the brands I like, the styles I like, the stores I like and what I get up to as well as my outfit posts. So any adverts/sponsors that I have will always fit in with this. I wont be advertising anything I don’t like and I wont be advertising anything I wouldn’t buy or wear myself. I hope that makes you feel a little better about it!

Currently I have a Shopbop.com widget on my side bar which I love! Shopbop.com (as you know) is one of my favourite online stores as I always buy there and post about things from there, so now you can have easy access to Shopbop.com items from my blog! I also set the default category to bags, so that makes it easier! I have a long slim ad in my footer at the bottom of the blog, that is on rotation between the different stores I chose (again they are ones that I shop at myself) and I also have the same just under the Shopbop.com widget. So there are not a tonne of changes as you can see, only a few! However the bigger part of why I did this is because I can make things more personal now and do things on my blog that being hosted by WordPress.com didn’t allow you to do until you transferred to WordPress.org.

Do you remember a really long time ago, back in September 2010, I said I was obsessed with the Sam Edelman Studded Pax booties, but I couldn’t afford the price of them? Well, about 4 months ago they appeared on Gilt Groupe at a heavily discounted price during a Sam Edelman sale and I snapped them up in an instant! I was so beyond excited about getting them!

The shipping took quite a while since they came from America, but they were worth the wait! I think I got them about a month and a half after ordering them, but I couldn’t be happier. I already adore my Sam Edelman Petty booties, so it’s great to add these to my boot collection! I’ve worn them twice so far and can’t wait to wear them more! I don’t even mind that they are quite heavy. Do you love them too?

Also, as a side note, tomorrow is the day I am transitioning over to self hosted. There shouldn’t be any downtime during the change over, but if there are any glitches or anything, don’t worry as it’s only temporary. I’m not sure if any comments left tomorrow will be affected by the change though. I hope not!

I wore this outfit on Saturday last week and I love how it turned out. I used to like pairing red, black and white with leopard, but this time I opted for something different and decided to pair it with zebra! You might remember these jeans from this post, thankfully they are a lot more comfortable to wear now that I’ve worn them quite a few times. I love them! I also decided the blue satchel would really pop against the colours.

I’m wearing my J Brand 901 Coated Red leggings, an ASOS cream top, blue Satchel and Mouse ring, a Topshop black Biker jacket, a Zara Zebra and Berry scarf and my River Island black wedge boots.

What do you think of my outfit? I would actually say that I still have an obsession with red jeans, especially coated ones. I think they are so chic and definitely one of my favourite trends since last year. Also, just to let you know a bit in advance, I am planning to switch over to self hosting soon so I can accept sponsors and things like that as I have been getting a few requests! I’m excited about it and can’t wait! I will let you know when that’s planned!

I got the chance to collaborate with the online store Zalando, in which I got to choose a few items to style for my blog. One of those that I picked was this classic Levi’s Denim Trucker Jacket which I adore! The funny thing was, I didn’t actually own a regular blue Levi’s denim jacket, I have a patchwork one, but not one like this, so now I am thankful I can add this to my closet!

I paired the Levi’s denim jacket with mint green and double denim. I wasn’t so sure on mint green at first because I thought it might be too pale for me, but as it turns out I really like the colour. I also thought I would make this look a little different in pairing the denim jacket with a denim shirt. I’ve not worn double denim in this combination before. I think the yellow clutch makes the outfit pop too! What do you think?

Over the past couple of months, I have acquired some new purchases, so I thought I would share them with you all in one big post. A couple of items you have already seen, like the denim shirt, grey denim leggings and the studded ombre jumper/sweater, but the rest I haven’t yet shared with you.

So from left to right in the top image is a pink jumper/sweater I got in the sale from Topshop, a nude shirt with neon pink piping from the sale in Miss Selfridge, orange Earnest Sewn jeans which I got given to review, a yellow Zara blazer I purchased in London last month, mint leggings from Miss Selfridge, Topshop denim and crochet shorts and some lilac leggings from Miss Selfridge.

This is just a close up photo so you can see the details and fabrics a little better than the far away image at the top. Plus, I love to see such bright colours laid out next to each other as it’s so pretty to look at!

The sequin pair of denim shorts above are from Topshop and I love them! They are the pair I fell in love with from the press day last year (which you can see here) so I definitely needed them as a part of my closet when they became available. I haven’t had chance to wear them yet, but I can’t wait to!

Above are a pair of Aztec leggings from Miss Selfridge which I also fell in love with! I think they are so much fun! Also a black PU Leather sleeveless jacket from Topshop and a glitter feather necklace from the store too, which was in the sale for £1.50! I definitely couldn’t not buy it!

So these are all of my new purchases, some are sale items and others aren’t, but since I mainly shop at high street stores, nothing is overly expensive at all, which is perfect for me! Have you bought anything new lately? What do you like the most and can’t wait to see in one of my outfit posts?

Finally here are the photos from the new Coach Autumn/Winter 2012 Press Day and the Nicholas Kirkwood Autumn/Winter 2012 Press Day. I saw both of these collections on different days during my London trips last month and I loved them!

I’ve never owned anything from Coach, but I have always loved the fact that they are not afraid to use bright colours and make their accessories fun! I also adore Nicholas Kirkwood, the shoes are generally always amazing and unique, but again I haven’t owned anything from them. I have included the writing about the collections under the sets of photos for each brand within this post. So what do you think of the new Autumn/Winter 2012 collections from Coach and Nicholas Kirkwood?

Above are the photos of the accessories from the new Coach Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. They literally used every colour possible and it made the whole collection so pretty to look at! I think the reds and yellows are my favourite, but I am a huge fan of the colour blocking bags in image 5, I think those are really cool. The mini yellow bag on the table in image 4 is my favourite from the whole collection, I would actually love to own that bag! Which do you like the most?

Above are the photos of the new Nicholas Kirkwood Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. There were literally so many shoes, they were everywhere I looked, it was amazing! Even though this is an Autumn/Winter collection, the colours are not dull or muted, they are super bright and fun, just like they would be in a Spring/Summer collection!

My absolute favourites are the boots in image 1, I love the black with the gold platform contrast. I also love the swirly ribbon on the backs of the heels in image 5, the blue and yellow platforms in image 4, the glittery nude boots in image 3 and some of the coloured heels. There were just so many beautiful shoes to choose from! What do you think of the new Nicholas Kirkwood collection? Have you spotted any you would love to own or plan on buying when they come out?

I wore this outfit on Friday when I went to the cinema to watch The Lucky One, starring Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling. I have been excited for this movie to come out for ages because it’s a beautiful story. I think the movie was really good, not my favourite, I prefer Dear John from Nicholas Sparks to The Lucky One, but it was really romantic and lovely! Although, I feel like no good movies came out for ages and now they all seem to be popping up at once!

I was wearing my Current/Elliott skinny jeans, my new Zara tan PU Leather jacket, an ASOS cream top, my Topshop Leopard scarf and my River Island Moccasins and Bag.

I bought this tan leather style jacket a few weeks ago when I was attending a mini fashion show in Bristol (I still need to post those photos). I think it’s so pretty! I usually stick to black for these types of jackets, but I think tan is a refreshing change. I decided to keep a really simple and casual outfit here as usually I like to wear a lot of colour or prints, but the days where I keep things simple, sometimes I love them just as much, if not more! Since the London trips are pretty much planned down to the last minute, I don’t really have any time to take photos of anything else other than the collections. It literally involves going from the train, into a taxi, to the location, into a taxi, to another location and so on until I get in a taxi and go to Paddington Station to get back on the train to come home.

However, when I was at Somerset House, the location was so beautiful I had to snap a few quick photos on my way out. Somerset House is actually the location where they hold most of the London Fashion Week shows, so I was very excited to visit it and check it out. It’s a beautiful place and I got to see Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the London Eye again while travelling in a taxi!

I was wearing my Diesel Jeggings, my Topshop white jumper/sweater and bag, my Zara coat, my River Island pastel scarf and my Sam Edelman Petty booties.

Luckily, while I was inside Somerset House seeing the new AW12 styles, it was pouring down with rain, but when it was time to leave, the sun came out and it dried up. It’s just a shame the second time around that I was in London, I wasn’t as lucky and did get soaked. Anyway, have any of you been to Somerset House before? And I hope you are enjoying my AW12 posts!
