A casual and warm windy beach outfit
These photos were taken a few weeks ago when I mentioned that I went to Burnham-on-Sea beach. We actually did shoot the whole look and not just Instagram snaps, so of course here it is. I have so much to share with you guys over the coming weeks and I can’t wait! Everything is scheduled in until around mid November, but I have some exciting posts that I’m really happy about!
Anyway, getting to my look here, I just went for something really simple and easy, pairing my Koral Los Angeles Merlot skinny jeans with a black vest top and my River Island grey cardigan. I cuffed the jeans and styled them with my Sam Edelman Petty booties in black and then added a pop of colour with my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Sycamore. It’s a lot colder now than when we took these photos, it’s crazy how much the season has changed now and how dark it’s getting. The clocks go back tonight and it’s going to get even darker again, this always makes outfit shoots so tricky! Anyway, let me know what you think of this outfit! Firstly, I just love the very concept of having a warm and windy beach outfit. Quite right! Beaches are not just for summer. 😀
It’s a very pretty outfit and, once again, you’re demonstrating how nice a colour grey is and how well it works alongside other colours. I especially like the shots of you alone on the steps. If not for knowing you were at a beach I’d maybe struggle to guess what kind of location this is. 🙂
It’s quite a change to see so many people in the background of some of these shots – and one or two of them clearly not feeling any cold weather at all. lol
My weekend got blown off course and then back on course again. It’s my grandad’s 88th birthday tomorrow so myself and my parents were going to go and spend the day with him. But my parents have both gone down with colds so that was cancelled as they can’t take colds to an 88 year old. But now my brother, sister-in-law and nephew have come up so I’m going with them to see grandad. A pity my parents can’t go but at least grandad gets some company on his birthday. 🙂

Thanks Steven! Yeah, I usually don’t like to have people in the background as I feel like it can ruin my plan of the location and outfit, but this one couldn’t be helped unfortunately. I’m so sorry they got sick! So many people seem to be getting really ill lately. I hope they get better soon and happy birthday to grandad 🙂

The Chanel would sort of go, but it’s a bit lighter and more purple than burgundy so I’m not sure if it would match completely, but black definitely would! There was no way I’m taking my Chanel to the beach though, ha ha it would be ruined from sand in an instant, knowing my luck!

That’s interesting, where I live it’s remained cooler (we’re moving into summer) but the days are becoming MUCH longer. It’s still light out at 8:30pm!
