John Greed Jewellery x Raindrops of Sapphire

I’m really excited to share with you these little campaign images that Adam and I shot for John Greed. Being a fashion blogger, I used to have a thing for bold, statement jewellery to really give an edge to my outfits, however lately, I have been drifting towards more dainty and elegant pieces like petite pendants and subtle rings, so choosing these pieces from John Greed couldn’t have been simpler! Aren’t they gorgeous? To really focus on the jewellery and make them the standout objects in these photos though, I decided to go with a black and white theme and to only have colour where it was needed, making the jewellery the focal point of each shot.

This White Gold Plated Pink Pave Quick Step Ring features channel set powder pink cubic zurconia stones on a 18ct white gold plated band. It’s incredibly feminine and elegant, making it the perfect minimal and girly ring for easy wearing. It’s subtle and comfortable, just adding a touch of class to your outfit without overpowering anything. It’s actually quite a lot paler in person and just showcases a hint of pink, but it would look great doubled up with other rings too. You can see each of the 5 jewellery pieces that I’m modelling below.

Speaking of elegant rings though, this Dimapur Silver & Peridot Miranda Ring is also a great piece. This gorgeous ring is hand-crafted from polished silver in a classic style and set with a sparkly green peridot stone. August is of course my birth month, so peridot is my birthstone and I think it’s so cute. It’s a very dainty ring which can be worn anywhere and it shines quite brightly too. It’s nice to have a splash of green on my hands.

This Origami Flamingo White Gold Plated Silver Necklace is such a unique piece from the John Greed jewellery that I chose. The cute origami flamingo is crafted in white gold plated silver and finished on a beautiful silver chain. It’s from the brands Origami Safari collection and it’s adorable. They also have cats and other animals, but I thought the flamingo was something different. With the way its cut, the flamingo definitely has a sense of cubism to it, much like it would look if it was made from origami. It’s dainty and definitely a talking piece, but sweet enough to be minimal too.

This Small & Sweet Silver CZ August Birthstone Necklace is so beautiful. I chose it because I’m an August baby like I mentioned and not only is peridot my birthstone, it’s also a pretty green which matches my eye colour. I don’t own many green pieces of jewellery, if any, so I couldn’t be happier with this necklace. Don’t you just love it? It’s dainty, elegant and would work perfectly with a floral or garden party dress.

This necklace is beautifully crafted from shimmering sterling silver and claw set with a single, brilliant cut, peridot green coloured cubic zirconia stone. It’s finished on a fine box chain with a spring ring clasp fastening, making it a necklace that you need in your collection. If August isn’t your month though, no worries as they have all the 12 birthstones available, so there’s a gemstone for everyone.

Finally, here is my Personalised Engraved Silver and Black Cord ID Bracelet. I love anything personalised and I chose to have the words ‘Be Present, Always Look’ written on it to remind myself to always stay in the present and not stress about the future or worries, as well as to always look around me and appreciate nature and everything passing by as it’s really quite miraculous.

This beautiful bracelet features a simple curved bar which is finished on a choice of either purple or black cord, but I chose black as it goes nicely with the silver. You can have anything that you want engraved on the bracelet to make it personal to you. It’s comfortable to wear too so I wear this bracelet with a smile on my face when I look down at it. Which piece is your favourite? I’d love for you to let me know!

My favourite is the flamingo – though you might have expected a different answer from me, I suspect. The flamingo is very different which is why it stands out to me. It’s very cleverly done indeed! 🙂 It’s a nice collection of photos overall, I like all of the pieces.

I have to admit that I don’t even know what my birthstone is, offhand. Truth be told I didn’t even know that I have one! 😀 I’ll just look that up and see…

Oh, it’s Emerald! Well that would make quite a lot of sense! 😀 Maybe it’s why I like green so much? lol

Yes, I do like the green ones too but the flamingo has to be the winner. 🙂

I forgot to mention that I like your choice of words on the bracelet too. Very wise. 🙂

Simple is also great, dear Lorna! I loved the flamingo pendant and the bracelet with Be Present… and the green stone, for the ring – I simply looove green stoned rings! Very beautiful photos, artistic and with good taste! Chic!

Oh wow, I am not one who wears much jewellery but I adore both rings. They are very dainty, classic and timeless, just the way I like them.
