Country Walks With Bench

Being a country girl is something that I love. Don’t get me wrong, I like going to big cities for shopping and events, but coming back to peace and quiet with lots of natural scenery is definitely warming. One of my favourite things to do is go on little country walks. I’m lucky enough to live right next to farms and woodland area, so I only really have to go out my door to be amongst nature. This is why when Bench asked me to select my favourite pieces from them and style them, it was really fitting. I used to wear the brand a lot when I was much younger, living in their hoodies and jeans, but you probably know that I adore a good padded gilet and I usually always wear a hoody or jumper underneath it, so choosing their navy gilet and grey fleece lined hoody was the perfect option! I also have the gilet in black as well as the hoody, so I’m set for different colour ways too!

I decided to pair both pieces with my trusty 7 For All Mankind The Ankle Skinny Jeans with the raw hem (similar here) and then tuck them into my River Island hidden heel high tops in burgundy (similar here). Underneath the hoody I chose to wear a burgundy tank top too to match with the shoe theme and then finish it off with a Topshop cable knit bobble hat. Living in Bath, this is something that I see on a regular basis actually on both men and women, so it’s definitely a lot like a classic country attire! All I would need is a pair of my Hunter wellies and I’m set! It’s definitely not the norm among fashion bloggers, but it’s something I’m always extremely comfortable with and it just gives me a warming, cosy feeling! What do you think of the outfit? I would love to know!

My 6th Favourite of your 2014 Autumn looks. šŸ™‚

I love how you’ve put a modern colourful twist on a traditional countryside look. I adore the vivid, rich, purples and I wish I had a hat like that! Those jeans are amazing too! šŸ™‚

I honestly didn’t expect this one to make the list as it’s such a casual and comfortable look that I wouldn’t really describe as fashionable, so that’s cool!

Purple will always grab my attention. šŸ™‚ Plus I guess I’m one of those “I don’t know much about fashion but I know what I like” types at heart. šŸ˜‰

Ha ha, well that explains it then! But I do love the deep purple and burgundy tones too, LOVE them! As I’m sure you have probably realised by now!

Thanks for your comments =) I read & reply every one =)
