Purple Berry Plaids In The Spring

(Jeans – Exact, Shirt – Exact, Bag – Exact, Wellies – Exact, Top – Exact)

Just over a week ago I wore this outfit to go out to town with my boyfriend. The rain was pouring down to begin with, so I opted to wear a pair of my wellies so I didn’t have to worry about puddles or ruining my shoes. In true British style though, the rain went off after only a few minutes and was dry for the remainder of the day, well, mostly! So there I am walking around in my Hunter Short Ruby Gloss Wellies while everyone else was in regular shoes!

Anyway, I decided to pair them with my AG Adriano Goldschmied The Legging Jeans in 18 Years Stone and my Paige Plaid Kadie Shirt. I’ve actually had this shirt for about a year, but have never worn it on the blog before as it’s incredibly casual, but since the colour combination of it is so beautiful and perfect for Spring, I thought why not! Plus, it paired perfectly with my new Rebecca Minkoff Mini Affair Bag in Tortora! To darken things down a little bit so that the outfit wasn’t too pale to go with the wellies, I went with my River Island Purple Vest Top and it actually turned out to almost be an identical match! So this was just a really comfortable look for me.

In other news, I have two really exciting projects which I’m working on right now, one to do with a company and one to do with myself, both of which will be revealed soon and I can’t wait to share them with you as it’s something I feel incredibly strongly and passionate about! Super exciting! Also, I would love for you to nominate my blog for ‘Best Established Fashion Blog’ in the Cosmo Blog Awards. This is entirely different to the Company Awards as it’s still in the nomination stage, so if you love my blog a lot, it would mean so much to me if you could nominate it. It takes less than a minute and you can do so by clicking here and scrolling to the bottom. Thank you!

Great purple rain boots. It’s been rainy here the last couple weeks, but the rain has let up. Now it is unbearably hot. I prefer the rainy weather though.

The outfit looks great. I was just making a note about the shirt. Sometimes you lift it up for us to see…
By the way, I didn’t comment on the dungarees post because, although I find women in jeans extremely sexy, dungarees don’t tickle my spot. But I must say that the make-up on that shoot made you even prettier than you already are. Congratulations on the photography! It gets better with every shoot.

Lol, that’s fine. Not everyone likes them, they can be considered childish, but that’s why I dressed them up. You aren’t the first not to like them though! And thank you, we are aiming to try and take better photos each time we shoot them, so it’s good to know it’s working!

Hi Eric! I was actually wondering where you had gone! I was going to ask your opinion on an outfit I’m planning! Leather skinny pants and black Hunter wellies, what’s your thoughts? And that’s great you now play polo!

I feel honored you are asking me! Yes, black on black would look fantastic! Ive seen lots of people in black leather with black lace up boots but not wellies so it will be an interesting look! My step sister recently got her own pink hunters with white welly socks and they look amazing! Not sure if i told you but i recently began wearing dresses! A new personal statement i am trying to make would like to see the ones ive purchased so far?

Yeah, it will definitely be something different! We will see how I can make it work! Pink and white sounds cool, and sure! Are they the old fashioned 60’s style dresses?

That red one is really pretty! Do you wear them out or only at home? I can definitely see the green and pink one being your style! Very preppy.

Lol yes preppy for life! LOVE wearing my collar popped, its been one of my favorite looks since i can remember. I wear both pretty evenly, though if im going somewhere nice its definitely the red dress. I love how it pops so well, plus the red and white go well with the red hunter logo. I am considering a few others so i would love your advice on a few if youd be willing to? Possibly try to find you one as well, i think youd look so beautiful in a fitted vintage dress, or even one with a circle skirt, those are always so fun to twirl in đŸ™‚

Yeah I like those types of dresses, if they are shorter and hit me mid thigh. I’m too small to look good in longer dresses below the knees.

Yeah i understand im short too so i had to get pencil skirt dresses. Do you think i could get your take on some dresses i am looking at? I would greatly appreciate it!
