My Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 Shoes In Black Kid

christian-louboutin-pigalle-100-black-kid-shoes-worn-modelled

You may remember this post I made back in January asking your advice between the Christian Louboutin Pigalle and the Ron Ron, both in black. It was a tough choice and the votes were quite evenly split actually, but I decided to go with the Pigalle! They are just such a classic and I wanted a pointed toe black heel as I don’t have one! The Ron Rons were just too similar to a pair that I already own, so I didn’t want to double up. Plus, they were suede and I already have quite a lot of suede shoes.

I was originally thinking about getting the Pigalle 85 in Black Kid, however those had completely sold out everywhere and trying to track down a pair of Pigalle 100 in Black Kid was just as difficult! They are a very popular classic shoe and are in high demand, so I have been waiting all this time to get a pair! These gorgeous shoes were sold out online, everywhere… and sold out in most boutiques as well, but I finally managed to track a pair down in the Christian Louboutin boutique in Selfridges in London! I had them mail ordered so they arrived a few days ago and I couldn’t be happier!

My other Christian Louboutin Pigalle heels in 85 are size 39.5 and really tight, so I opted for a 40 in these so they weren’t as painful. They fit perfectly on the right foot and slightly loose on the left, but they don’t give me pain so they are more than perfect! Walking in the 100 height is actually a lot easier than I thought too! I’m really ecstatic that I managed to get hold of these since the wait list now is June/July for orders, but I managed to get them before! Thank goodness! It just means I’m incredibly poor right now and will be for a while, but I think they were definitely worth it!

So, without further ado, here are my new Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 in Black Kid. What do you think of them? I have already worn them twice as you can see and I will be sharing these two outfits in full with you soon! But definitely let me know your thoughts! You can shop more of his shoes online at Matches, My Theresa and LuisaViaRoma! They have some very similar styles! Or, buy these exact shoes online by clicking here.

In serious want – no need! – of these! Especially because they’re not patent. Are they easy to walk in since they’re 100 heels? x

Yeah, I wasn’t in to the whole patent either, especially not for black, I find it a bit tacky. They are fairly easy, it depends how experienced with heels you are. They aren’t as difficult as I imagined though!

Hi there, came across your site after seeking advice online for buying these shoes. I note you ordered Suze 40 – can I ask what your normal Suze us? Trying to decide wether I want half a size up or a whole size.

    • Ann
      May 18, 2015 / 3:07 pm

      Suze = size! Lol

Lol that’s ok, I knew what you mean. My usually CL size is 39.5 so I took half a size up, true to size is MUCH too painful in the toe box, so these do slip a little at the back, but that’s nothing compared to the pain the half size down causes!

        • Ann
          May 18, 2015 / 9:28 pm

Thank you! I’ve never had CL before, but am a UK size 7 with wide feet. Do you think a CL size 40.5 would fit in a Pigalle 100mm? I own Jimmy Choo in a size 40, round toe, platform with 6 inch heel which fit (well they last about 5 hours before they kill too bad lol).

          Thanks for being my guru!!

Hmm I’m not sure, I’m a 39 in Jimmy Choo, most of their styles I have tried, but I take the 40 in Pigalle. So I’m not sure, it really depends on your feet, but really Pigalle isn’t a great option for wide feet, the toe boxes are cut so narrow that they can be painful on narrow feet like my own. Is there anyway you can try them on first before purchasing? Or purchase them from an online store which has free returns? I have numerous other posts on CL’s and fit too, in case that helps you!

Are these the Pigalles with the elastic in the back by the top of the heel? What is your shoes not in CL as you mentioned in the above post. In UK OR US Please. Thanks

I mention in UK sizing and no these don’t have elastic in the back, I haven’t found any Louboutin shoes with elastic in them?

      Between a 39 and 40 which is a UK 6 or 7.
Where did you see elasticated back Pigalle?

      • Cee
        May 21, 2015 / 12:46 am

I’ve seen several. On Pigalles before the removed in 2013 and in Rolandos.

And have your Pigalles stretched out too much by now? I can see there’s a slight gap when you first had them. How bad is the slippage now?

They have stretched out a little bit, but not a huge amount. Length wise they are still the same, but the toe box has stretched a little bit.

Hello! I’m thinking about purchasing my very first pair of Pigalles 🙂 Is there a big difference between the Kid material and Jazz Calf? Which one do you prefer?

    Thanks ^_^

Hi ^^ I’m not sure if you received my last comment since it didn’t appear on the blog….but would you prefer kid or jazz calf for pigalles? Thank you so much for your input and you look great wearing them!

Hi, yeah the comments need to be approved to prevent spam and such! Is the jazz calf the patent leather? If so, the patent fits very differently to kid. Kid is really soft as it’s a regular supple leather whereas patent is stiff and doesn’t have as much stretch or move-ability to it, so it can pinch the toes and is often tighter. I hope that helps!

        February 22, 2016 / 3:30 pm

Thank you so much for your reply 🙂 And jazz calf is another type of leather I think. Kid leather is goatskin and jazz calf would be calfskin 🙂 It’s different from patent. I just didn’t know which ones would fit better but it sounds like kid is much more supple and flexible!

In which case I imagine both to be the same, I have nappa calf and kid and they don’t really feel any different!

  16. March 26, 2017 / 12:48 am

I just bought these. They fit well but better on one foot better than the other. I think I’ll try the sock trick. Maybe.

Hi, I decided to buy these because of how good they look on your foot( you should ask for some commission haha). But, I just wanted to ask how comfort are they by now, since you have them for a while already. Thanks

Hi Amy! Ha ha, actually I do get commission if they are purchased via my links in the blog posts 😀 The comfort is actually still the same, because of the 100 heel height and no cushion under the ball of the foot, they are painful after a while, but aren’t all stiletto heels? The leather is super soft though! Did you get the black ones? 🙂
