I bought this jumper/sweater completely unexpectedly last weekend in Topshop. I was in my local Topshop in Bath and was browsing around like I usually do, just looking, and then I came across this gorgeous embellished jumper with 30% off! It’s really beautiful in person as it has hand sewn beads all over the front and the arms, so it’s very delicate and pretty. They still have 30% off online so snap it up if you like it! I don’t think it will last long at that price. I got it in size UK 6 as it does run a bit bigger, so keep that in mind too. Since it’s such a light grey, I thought pairing it with a darker grey would look good, which is why I went with my Paige Verdugo Leggings in Stratus. These are really old and they are actually a bit big on me now in the legs, so they don’t fit as well as I would like them to. You would think that I would have a good amount of grey jeans in my closet, considering my denim addiction and the size of my collection, but I don’t. I have only 4 pairs of grey jeans, two of which are not comfortable, so I don’t wear them as they are a thick denim, the other are my J Brand’s which are now too big too, so that leaves me with these. I really need to buy another pair so badly!
Anyway, I wore my French Connection Athena Faux Leather Jacket in colour block burgundy and black over the top of this outfit. I think the burgundy and black goes really nicely with grey and just brings a bit of colour to the look. I got this jacket over a month ago though on ASOS and you can snap it up now with 25% off! They have 25% off of everything online and it’s only available until tomorrow, so make sure you get everything you need to and take advantage of the code XMAS25! I took this jacket in UK size 8 which is generally my normal size and it’s really comfortable and easy to wear. I do have a lot of faux leather jackets, but I have to say that the two French Connection ones I have are definitely my favourites now! Finally, to tie in with the grey theme, I wore my KG by Kurt Geiger Winona boots in grey and added a splash of colour with my Topshop blue triangle ring which I got over a year ago. I do want to apologise for how I look in these photos as well, I don’t look the best as I wasn’t feeling very well at the time. My face seems to be a bit swollen and round looking and I look quite drained/tired, so please don’t pay too much attention to that and just focus on the outfit more than anything. Also, if you love embellished knitwear, I made a post about some pretty new styles on my other fashion blog, The Fashion Supernova, you can check it out by clicking here. Anyway, what do you think of it? Do you like it?
