This is a really simple and casual outfit that I wore a couple of weekends ago. I hadn’t worn J Brand in ages, so I decided to pull out my older J Brand skinny jeans in grey, but since they fit me a little bit loosely now, I thought they looked better with a cuff at the hems. It adds that extra bit of ease to the look as well I find. Since I wanted to be comfortable, I threw on my oversized cream Zara knitted jumper and pushed the sleeves up. This trusty jumper has been so useful! I’ve worn it numerous times and absolutely adore it! I don’t think it was originally designed to be oversized, but I took a size large in it so that it was.
I didn’t want my entire outfit to be completely casual, so I wore my Topshop mint metallic toe cap heels, just to smarten it up a little bit. I love these shoes! I did recently share them with you in one of my new purchases posts and I honestly can’t believe I won them for about £7 on eBay! You can always get some amazing deals there! As the outfit colour scheme was quite muted with grey and cream, I wanted to add a little pop of colour, so I took my Marc by Marc Jacobs neon yellow neoprene iPhone case with me and also wore my Katula Kiss neon yellow and green bracelets to go with my Michael Kors Slim Runway watch in silver. I think adding the neon really helps liven the look up a bit.
Going back to J Brand, they have really upped their game lately in terms of the new styles. I was looking around and saw some new J Brand Jeans from Trilogy, especially the new photo ready denim. I actually wrote a post on them a couple of days ago on DenimBlog and think they are really cool. Have any of you tried them yet? I was really into bold and bright denim for ages, but have now been mostly interested in the more classic jeans at the moment, which is why I’m excited to see what they are coming out with. I will be seeing the new J Brand collection in November actually and can’t wait. Anyway, what do you think of the outfit? Comment and let me know!
