5 Different Autumn Inspired Outfits

I always love putting outfits together with collages, it’s one of my favourite things to do, especially around Autumn time as I love mixing the seasonal colours together and coming up with different looks that I would love to wear. Autumn is the best time of year for fashion and it’s the time of year where I would love to have so much money so that I could buy all of the pieces I want, but instead I usually opt for some staple pieces that I can also wear next Autumn. I have a burgundy princess coat that I have been wearing during the colder months for three years now and I love it! Anyway, here are five very different outfits that I put together and think are a great inspiration!

The first look above is one that I would definitely wear myself. I absolutely adore it and it might possibly be my favourite out of the five! I combined this amazing burgundy and black structured blazer coat from Zara with some black leggings, a pair of Kurt Geiger Gazelle black ankle boots and a white shirt with black leather accents. I love this whole black, white and burgundy combination here, but I wanted to break it up and add a little more colour to the outfit, so I went with a Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac in brown and then finished it off with a bronze coloured bullet necklace. The best thing about this outfit is that it would look equally as good without the jacket, so when you get indoors and you take the jacket off so you don’t get hot, you are still going to look incredibly stylish! If you don’t fancy such a thick and heavy coat though for this look, I fell in love with this burgundy faux leather jacket as well, I think it’s a great alternative.

Now this second look above is another one of my favourites! It’s more casual and easy going for comfort, but still really stylish, structured and Autumn appropriate with the colour palette. I paired these amazing Rag & Bone Dre jeans with a burgundy and purple checked shirt from H&M and some Bon Prix beige ankle boots. This combination reminds me of something that Hilary Duff or Jessica Alba would wear and I adore it! The boots reminded me a lot of my Sam Edelman Petty booties too, so that’s why I chose them. For the accessories, I added this pretty burgundy Topshop western inspired belt and a Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac in navy, to keep with the colour theme. I then opted for an amazing blue crystal ring and a gold snake wrap around ring, just to give it some personality.

This third outfit is something a little smarter. This is an ensemble you could wear to lunch with the ladies, if you like that kind of thing because the coat and cardigan tone it down, but you can also transition it out to dinner or to a fancy party in the evening by removing the outerwear. It’s a really versatile look and I love it! I started out with this beautiful Bon Prix burgundy peplum dress and paired it with a Bon Prix faux leather trim coat. To add some colour to the mix, I went with this gorgeous H&M mustard tone cardigan and added a pretty Michael Kors gold chain strap slim runway watch. Finally, for the shoes, I chose these Carvela Ground red suede heels with ankle straps. This is definitely an outfit that looks really glam, all the while keeping with the Autumn colour theme!

Now, this fourth look was more inspired by a casual boho chic vibe. It’s probably not something I would wear myself as it wouldn’t suit my style, but that doesn’t stop me absolutely loving it and thinking it’s gorgeous! My starting point was this stunning Bon Prix sheer chiffon blouse dress in mustard which I thought would work perfectly with a tan coloured long coat over the top to tone down the vibrancy, so I went with this Zara brown coat with large lapels. To tone things down a little more, I opted to add some casual ankle boots with only a little heel, but a bright pop of colour, which is why I chose the Kurt Geiger Tara red suede booties. Then, to tie in with the theme of the look, I needed to add a bag that had structure, class and style, which is why I went for the Mulberry Willow tote in brown. It really pulls the whole outfit together nicely! Just for some fun, I added this Mulberry key chain with different icons on it, a gorgeous gold engraved ring and then a Michael Kors gold watch for practicality. I think you could also add a floppy hat to this outfit, just to give it that finishing touch!

Finally, my fifth look, it’s something a little more edgy and casual, but in more of a hippy way. I started out with this amazing H&M burgundy and black kimono that I had seen on another fashion blogger a few days ago. I thought the style of it and the tones were so pretty, I had to incorporate it and I thought it worked best with black skinny jeans. To give it a little bit of edge, I chose these Kurt Geiger Shilling black leather boots and a lace and leather combination t-shirt to go under the kimono. I think the pairing of these pieces together gives it a tough look which is really edgy, but still quite feminine. For the accessories, I chose this Aldo mustard bag for some colour and then added some mustard yellow leaf earrings to tie in with the Autumn theme! Once the yellow had been added to liven things up, I wanted a little more colour and opted for a Marc by Marc Jacobs burgundy chain bracelet and a McQ Alexander McQueen blue bracelet, just to give that extra pop. Then finally, to add some sleekness, I went for the Michael Kors slim runway watch in silver. I had a great time collaborating with Bon Prix on this post as I love doing styling looks!

– So, out of the five looks above, which one do you like the most?

I do prefer the last set, I have seen a lot of items of clothing with a leather black affect stitched in. Im not so sure on the mustard colour for myself, but it looks pretty x
