Valentines Day Valentines Day Ideas

Valentines Day is one of my favourite occasions of the year. To some it might be a day which just makes people spend more money, but I love the idea that you get to celebrate your love and feel like a giddy school girl all over again. Last year, I wore this all pink outfit below, as I went out for a meal with my boyfriend, but this year I’m planning on wearing red! I’m thinking I might go down the route of my burgundy skinny jeans, with a black top, a blazer and some heels. As long as I have red in my look, I think I will be all set! I’m going to accessorize with red too by having a red bag and bracelet. I’m also going to wear my new raindrop shaped french crystal necklace that my boyfriend got me for Christmas. I haven’t worn it yet as I am waiting for the perfect occasion!

I collaborated with Marks and Spencer on this post as they always have amazing gifts! I put together the collage above and I think it represents Valentines Day perfectly and gives some great gift ideas that are cute and girly, as well as yummy! One thing my boyfriend always buys me is a single red rose that I can keep forever as it’s not real. I’m quite sensitive to real flowers as I suffer from hay fever, so I just love the fact I can keep the roses and not have any issues! I also think that cute little teddies, definitely chocolates, little romantic books and cards make great gift ideas for girls. I personally love anything glittery and sparkly with romance behind it!

For the actual day, I think my boyfriend is planning on taking me out for a romantic meal and then we can watch a romantic movie later in the evening. That’s definitely my idea of a great Valentines day! Even if you don’t feel like going out at all, just spending that quality time together is always important. I find it’s always good to have a cosy night in with your friends as well, if you aren’t celebrating it with a loved one. Valentines just represents love, but it doesn’t mean it only has to be relationship love, I think you can celebrate it for the love of your friends and family too if you wanted! What are you planning to do this Valentines? And do you have any outfits planned at all?

I haven’t even thought about Valentine’s day yet. My boyfriend and I usually celebrate it along with our anniversary because they’re only 2 days apart.

Hi Kiyara! I answered this question a couple of days ago actually, I own my blog, it’s now owned by WordPress, so the snow thing is something I put in myself :) I can have it for whenever I want to! I’m assuming your blog is hosted by WordPress.com as mine used to be and the snow was on their time :)

I’m not much of a Valentine’s Day kinda girl..I feel like people have taken the concept of Valentine’s Day into a consumerism kinda view and I don’t like it…plus, i feel like showing my love to my Mr every day and not on a specific day…we usually never do anything special on Valentine’s, because we can do them whenever we want!

Having that said, I really loved that blazer!!! Not only the color, but specially the shape!!! Really loved it!! I’m bummed there’s no Marks and Spencer over here =(

I changed the name of my blog, hope you like it =)

Oh no that blazer is from Zara, only the first collage with the chocolates and gifts is Marks & Spencer. They don’t have the pink blazer on there anymore though. I do show love everyday anyway, I just like the excuse! Ha ha!

Haha, when I read your title I has to check my calendar to see witch date we are xD I was never a fan of Valentine’s Day and I don’t know if I ever will. I admit the idea is nice, making a day with you love one even more special. I personally think red fits more with this event than pink so go for it in your outfit ;)

    Have a nice day,
