I wore this outfit yesterday for a picnic in the park with my mum and brother as the weather was supposed to be really hot. I know it was the hottest this year so far in London, but here it was sort of cloudy and just warm. Luckily the shoes kept my feet warm! This is a shirt that I bought about 4-5 months ago, but I never got around to wearing. I was struggling with things to pair it with, but I quite like this outfit I put together quickly yesterday.

I’m wearing a Topshop tie-dye denim shirt, my vintage Levi’s denim shorts, my new River Island hidden heel trainers in Burgundy, a mix of bracelets from Topshop, H&M and New Look and my ASOS rainbow watch.

This shirt is actually really long, as you can see from the back photos, and it’s the same length at the front, however I left a couple of buttons undone and tucked the sides into my front pockets so it’s shorter at the front. I always find myself adjusting pieces of clothing to make them fit me right. Sometimes with my tops, I really love the look of them so I want to wear them, but they just don’t sit right or fit right with what I’m wearing, so I have to go about adjusting them in this sort of way. I always make things work if I love something, ha ha! What do you think of the outfit?

    Very cute top! I know what you mean about it being long – I get so annoyed when shirts are too long – you can only do so much tucking in before it’s too bulky. A trip to a tailor can easily fix it! Changing the length on a button-down should be done by a professional but it shouldn’t cost too much…and worth it for all the extra wearability you will get out of the top!

      I’m ok with it being tucked into the pockets or waistband as I really like the length of it at the back, just not the front. So it might be awkward for them to only take it up at the front and make the side seams symmetrical, ha ha.

    I’m really impressed with the sneakers! I mean, I saw the pictures when you first bought them, but I thought you could see the wedge when wearing them and I really like that you can’t!!! I find them really good for those days where you want to feel comfortable but still have the extra height! =D

    I do the same think you do with that shirt..I have a very long cardigan and sometimes I do that so that it seems shorter in front!

      Oh yeah I love them, you can’t see the wedge at all so they look just like regular sneakers/trainers and you can’t see the wedge at all =)
