It’s been a little while since I put together a new purchases post, so here it finally is! These are all pieces that I have bought over the past month, but two of them I got given as a birthday gift. Even though everything I buy is usually fairly cheap (unless I’ve saved for something expensive) I have to cut back on my spending. I had three part time jobs, 2 of which are blogging and the other was doing some listings for a company, however the listings job I can no longer do as the shop closed, so I’m still in the process of looking for something else I can do. So on that note, I probably wont have a new purchases post for quite some time again as I’m not able to get anything. I think I am going to take to doing DIY and customizing my current clothes! I love doing that! And of course I will share it with you.
Anyway, above is my new River Island hidden wedge trainers/sneakers in burgundy. I’m not usually a sporty shoe kind of girl, but I fell in love with these a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t take my eyes off of them, so I finally decided to snap them up. They don’t make my feet look really big, which is something I worry about, and the burgundy colour is so pretty! For shoes they weren’t overly expensive either. I love them!
I got these dip dye shorts from Topshop about 6 weeks ago, but I don’t think I ever shared them with you. I have been living in them at the moment with the heat, but they are a bit too short to wear out unfortunately, so I keep them as house shorts. It’s a shame since I love the colour of them, I think it’s amazing! Now for some reason I am singing George Michael because of that last sentence, ha ha.
I’ve really taken a liking to H&M recently. Mostly because their clothes are so cheap and they have really pretty styles. This striped jumper/sweater is one that I have been wearing a lot lately for casual wear, over leggings. I love it! It’s so comfortable and it hits at mid thigh so it’s a perfect length! I would love to get more of these since they are only about £7!
This is a berry faux suede biker jacket from H&M which my mum gave to me for my birthday. I had been looking at it online for quite some time and she said I could pick it as part of my birthday present, I’ve worn it once so far (it’s too hot at the moment) and it’s really cute! I like to pair it with dark blue skinny jeans.
This is another cute bow vest/tank top from H&M which my mum gave me for my birthday too. I did go on a bit of a shopping spree in H&M since everything is so cheap, it’s a great place to pick up basics! But this top is really pretty and goes well with shorts or jeans.
This is also from H&M, ha ha, it’s a mustard cardigan which I have wanted for ages! I love the mustard colour and it’s perfect for Autumn, so I can’t wait to start wearing it!
And this is my last item from H&M, a cute neon yellow dip dye scarf! I saw this on the rack and had to snap it up. It’s so bright and fun, I can never stop looking at it!
And here is a sideways view of my new shoes from River Island. I plan on wearing them with shorts soon!
