Peasant Dresses & Butterfly Meadows

I really love meadows and fields of beautiful long grass or corn, I adore the countryside! Thankfully I am lucky enough to live right next to an endless amount of fields and pretty scenery. I always like being outside surrounded by the trees and nature as it’s somewhat therapeutic and relaxing! I always see little butterflies around too, it’s hard to get photos of them as they wont stay still, haha, I saw the prettiest bright red ones the other day though πŸ™‚

I’m wearing a Topshop white peasant dress I got in the sale, my Topshop Prima Sling clogs, a Topshop waist belt and Topshop beaded bracelets.

As you can tell, my obsession with Topshop clothes continues and I actually didn’t realise until just now that this outfit is everything Topshop and nothing else, haha! I just bought a new pair of wedges from their as well, a long with a few items I picked up in the sale at River Island. Anytime I see the word sale I’m instantly drawn to it like a fly to the light, I can’t help it πŸ˜€

I love the dress and I love the shoes…but not sure I love them together. The clogs seem a bit heavy for the delicate dress – maybe I am just stuck on the notion that I think of clogs for fall? I think I would love it more with a more open pair of sandals and a pretty pedicure! I dig the bracelets with the outfit! I hope you don’t take my comments the wrong way, I love your blog! I’m 40 so maybe part of it is I’m sort of old school! πŸ™‚

Oh don’t worry, I don’t take comments like that to heart or anything πŸ™‚ I know everyone has their own opinions. That’s what makes fashion so versatile and different πŸ˜€ I really love clogs for Summer as they are huge right now, they are absolutely everywhere and they are all shops like Topshop etc are stocking so they have become a Summer trend right now πŸ™‚ I like them with the dress as it adds a bit more of a different vibe to it rather than being completely feminine and dainty πŸ™‚ But I appreciate everyone’s style is completely different, it’s half the reason I’m obsessed with fashion, I get inspiration from everywhere πŸ˜€

I know I see clogs everywhere…I have a very cool pair but I just can’t make myself wear them yet…I live in the mid-atlantic part of the US and if you’ve read about our weather, it has been beastly…90-100F every day! the thought of closed shoes in this weather makes me hot just thinking about it! πŸ™‚

Oh my goodness 100F?! It’s been hot here around 80-85F and that’s too much for me! Haha πŸ™‚
